Merry Christmas

December 25, 2008 (Cody above, eating Doritos)

As I reflect on this Christmas eve, I somehow find some strength to write. The messages, emails and phone calls are appreciated and offer so much support and hope. It is so difficult, every moment of every day, everything is so different. Our lives will never be the same, Cody will never be forgotten. Yet, we must carry on, we must move forward. We have choices on how to move forward and in reflecting on Cody, his life, his impact, his message - it is to move forward with great strength, create a positive impact, each and every day. That is what we will try to do, spread the love, give a hug, hug a little longer, mean it.

This past Sunday, we had an intimate family celebration of Cody’s life, the 14 year miracle. It was a beautiful ceremony. I have posted a video of some Cody imagery. I will post more in time.

I must note one other important piece of our puzzle - Brandon and Tanner. They have been so incredibly strong and have given us so much hope, love and laughter in this difficult time. We are so thankful to have them, and they, to have each other.

Merry Christmas!
