Relief & Tribute Fund
Staff Recommendation: Rancho Simi has recommended against a memorial. We understand the policy and in many ways agree with it. We are NOT going to continue to try to fight this and are NOT going to go to the meeting, nor should you. Thank you for the support, we will be posting info on a community service soon, and there will be many other ways to celebrate Cody’s life.
We have started a Cody Relief & Tribute Fund.
All proceeds will go towards the following:
Park Memorial
Assuming we can get approval from the local park district, we are looking to plant a tree, install a bench or table and benches at a local park or school, possibly with a small plaque honoring Cody and allowing for his friends to reflect, hang out and make Cody laugh.
Medical / Funeral Cost
We have medical coverage, but we are uncertain as to the extent, and as you can imagine, the bills are quite large.
Leukemia
Any additional funds beyond that would go towards the fight against Leukemia. If enough money is raised we may even be granted an endowment in Cody’s name.
Donations of $20 or more will be sent an Official "Who Needs a Hug" t-shirt. We wanted to create something that would honor Cody, that would bring people closer together, that would spread the Cody love. You can read about more details on the t-shirt page, click here.
